Expect Tight Parking For Taylor Swift's Cleveland Concert
With "Hamilton" making its debut in the city tonight, drivers should expect a long, slow ride through the city.

CLEVELAND, OH -- Taylor Swift will bring her Reputation tour to First Energy Stadium on Tuesday night. The city has already asked residents to either take the RTA or get dropped off downtown because parking is expected to be extremely limited.
"Parking is always tight when there are multiple events occurring," a Cleveland Police spokesperson told Patch. The other event happening Tuesday night is the debut of Broadway smash "Hamilton" at Playhouse Square.
Doors for Swift's concert will open at 5 p.m., but opening acts aren't expected to take the stage until 7 p.m. The show should conclude around 11 p.m., but that time is subject to change. The Greater Cleveland RTA will run until midnight tonight.

Speaking of opening acts, here's who will perform prior to Swift: Camila Cabello and Charli XCX, both famous pop stars in their own rights. The Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame is hosting a pre-concert party that it's calling Taylgate (get it?). That event will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., for attendees not too interested in the openers.
RTA riders should jump on the waterfront line, which will be running all day and until midnight for concertgoers. However, even public transportation should be much more crowded than usual.

For those that want to brave the traffic, StubHub is still selling parking passes for lots near FirstEnergy. Most parking passes will cost about $50-$60. Those passes can be purchased by clicking here.
