Here are the top stories in Cleveland today:

1. Federal authorities are investigating shipments of counterfeit, faulty masks to hospitals across the country, including a $1.8 million sale to the Cleveland Clinic last year amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Officials are examining a Pennsylvania company that sent more than 400,000 masks to the Clinic, as well as boxloads to healthcare providers in Connecticut and Delaware, records show. The Clinic issued more than 50,000 of the masks to its healthcare workers before learning they were fake. (cleveland.com)
2. A woman is accused of fatally shooting a man Tuesday on the city's East Side. Randell Allen, 37, died in the shooting that happened about 10:55 p.m. at a home near East 126th Street and Locke Avenue. When officers arrived at the home, they learned Allen drove away in a vehicle. Police responded to a nearby crash a short time later, and Allen was found unresponsive after he struck a pole, police said. (cleveland.com)
3. As more people return to the office, data shows that traffic volume and accidents are up in 2021 in Cleveland. (News 5 Cleveland)
4. Baker Mayfield will not start Thursday night's game against the Denver Broncos, instead, Mayfield's backup, Case Keenum, will lead the Cleveland Browns onto the gridiron. (Cleveland Patch)
