  1. A "Fantastic Beasts" themed food truck will be stopping in Cleveland on Apr. 8 while it travels throughout the country. The truck is themed around Kowalski Quality Baked Goods, a shop that moviegoers will see on the silver screen when the new film releases on Apr. 15. The exciting food truck will be in University Circle from noon until 4:00 p.m. (cleveland.com)
  2. Cuyahoga County's Giant Eagle stores will stop offering patrons single-use plastic bags starting on Apr. 22. The Pittsburgh-based chain hopes that the new change will encourage shoppers to reuse grocery bags. 3. Cleveland Cord Blood Center and Deverra Therapeutics have reached an agreement on the production of clinical-grade therapeutic allogeneic off-the-shelf cord blood-derived cell products. The agreement will allow the Cleveland Cell Therapy Incubator to manufacture the products at its Cleveland facility. Where should you invest as a Cleveland resident with a $149,000 nest egg? Thanks to a change in the legal code, there's a new investment Cleveland residents need to know about. In fact, Bloomberg asked experts where they'd invest $100,000 right now and many of them chose it.

This may surprise you, but it's fine art.

Growing your nest egg with art isn't new. Wealthy families like the Rockefellers have done it for centuries.

Here's why:

  • Low correlation to stocks according to Citi
  • Contemporary art historically returns 23.2% when inflation is >3%
  • Contemporary art prices outpaced the S&P 500 by 164% (1995-2021)

Translation: Art could be one of the best investments for uncertain times.

Luckily for you, we found Masterworks. This revolutionary platform lets you invest in art by Warhol, Monet, Picasso without spending millions.

The best part? Anyone from your area can skip their waitlist*.
