FBI Looking For Bank Robber That Hit Cleveland PNC Branch
The PNC Bank at 4005 Chester Avenue was robbed on Tuesday morning. Now the FBI is asking the public for help finding the suspect.
CLEVELAND — The PNC Bank at 4005 Chester Avenue in Cleveland was robbed Tuesday morning. The FBI is now asking the public for help catching the suspected robber.
The unidentified suspect came into the bank at 11:45 a.m. He got into line and then gave a note to the teller demanding money. The note said not to press the bank's alarm button. The teller handed over the cash and the man walked out of the bank.
The suspect was seen going southwest, across Chester Avenue. No one saw the man get into a car and no one was hurt during the robbery.

The suspect is a white man, approximately 50 years old, standing between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall. He had a thin build, blue eyes and a stubble beard. The FBI said the man was wearing a black knit hat, a black sweat shirt with a Regent Charter School logo on the left breast, blue jeans, and possibly black Nike shoes with a white swish and grey or green accents.

Anyone with information on the robbery or the suspect should contact the Cleveland Division of the FBI, Cleveland Police, or Crimestoppers. Tips can remain anonymous. Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the person responsible for the robbery. PNC is offering up to $5,000 for tips.
