FBI Looking for High School Students to Join Hands-On Training

The Future Agents in Training program will give students an in-person look at how the agency operates.

CLEVELAND, OH - Are you a high school student considering a career in law enforcement? Are you a parent of a high school aged student that is always busy investigating who stole the last cookie out of the pantry? There may be a promising training opportunity for your child.

The Cleveland FBI is hosting its 3rd Annual Future Agents in Training (FAIT) Academy. The program will take place from June 13-16, 2017 and is open to teenagers, age 16 to 18. The FBI says the program is comparable to a mini Citizens Academy.

Last year, nearly 200 students fought it out for 40 available spots. The FBI says they are expecting similar numbers of applicants this year, so you'll want to get your application in early. The students that do make it into the program will spend their days at the FBI's Cleveland Field Office and will get to partake of both classroom and hands-on activities.
