FBI, Police Seek Help With Four Unsolved Bank Robberies
Five Greater Cleveland bank robbery suspects are still being sought by the FBI and local police departments.

CLEVELAND, OH – The Federal Bureau of Investigation, Garfield Heights Police Department, Cleveland Division of Police, Lakewood Police Department, Cleveland Heights Police Department and CrimeStoppers are asking the public for assistance in identifying individuals believed to be responsible for four recent unsolved bank robberies.
Six bank robberies have occurred in the past six weeks in the Cleveland vicinity. Two of those six robberies were solved the same day; three of the six robberies were armed: two involved weapons being brandished and one involved a note being presented that indicated a weapon.
Law enforcement has received few tips in each of these unsolved robberies and is asking the public to take a look at the surveillance photos and contact law enforcement if they believe they may recognize any individual involved or have heard any information pertaining to the following robberies:

• US Bank, 5007 Turney Road, Garfield Heights on Nov. 6; Suspect: White male, approximately 6 foot, in his 40s
• KeyBank, 3601 Chester, Cleveland, on Dec. 8; Suspect: Black male, possibly in late 30’s-early 40’s, armed with semi-automatic

• Dollar Bank, 15509 Madison, Lakewood, on Dec. 11; Suspect: White male, approximately 5’5”, skinny build, threatened weapon
• Huntington Bank, Coventry, Cleveland Heights, on Dec. 13: Suspects: Two armed black males, both approximately 5’8”
The robberies are not believed to be linked. The armed bank robbers were extremely aggressive in the robberies – ordering customers and employees to the ground or pointing their weapon at individuals in the bank. Law enforcement is concerned and wants to get these individuals into custody. They are considered armed and dangerous.
Tips can be provided to any of the above listed police departments, Crime Stoppers or the Cleveland Division of the FBI. Tips can remain anonymous. Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individuals responsible for any of these robberies.
As of Dec. 18, there have been 90 bank robberies in Cuyahoga County this year; there were 74 in 2016; 46 in 2015; 34 in 2014; and 36 in 2013.
