CLEVELAND — The FBI is asking the public for help identifying a woman who may know the identity of a child at the heart of a sexual exploitation case. Photographs of the woman, referred to only as Jane Doe 37, were released on Thursday.

Jane Doe 37 is a white woman, with brown hair. She is seen wearing dark-framed glasses. A sketch artist drew what her face may look like. However, the images shared by the FBI are dated.

According to investigators, the initial video of Jane Doe 37 was first recorded in June 2014. It is possible the recording was made even earlier, in April 2012, based on metadata within the video files. That means Jane Doe could have changed her look.
