Flooding Possible In Northeast Ohio This Weekend
Wind gusts could hit 50 mph on Saturday, the National Weather Service warned.
CLEVELAND — Northeast Ohio may get unseasonably warm temperatures this weekend, but the heat-up will come with driving rains, gusty winds and a possibility of flooding, the National Weather Service warned.
Rain is expected to fall throughout Friday and into Friday night, though showers may become sporadic throughout the evening. About 0.5 inches of rain are expected to fall throughout the day. However, rain will return on Saturday and could be "heavy," at times, according to the National Weather Service.
The outpouring of rain could cause flooding on area rivers. Thunderstorms are also possible throughout Northeast Ohio on Saturday.

The bright side to this weekend's forecast is the temperature. Saturday has a projected high of 66 degrees. While the warm-up will be tempered some by the rain, temperatures will remain, at least, in the high 40s throughout the weekend, and should climb back into the low 50s by early next week.
