Four Heavily Armed Men Rob PNC Bank in Cleveland

The men had long guns and shot up the walls of the bank. No one was hurt in the robbery. See photos from the robbery.

CLEVELAND, OH - Four unidentified suspects robbed PNC Bank, 21 S. Moreland, Cleveland, on Jan. 21. They men were carrying long guns and wearing masks and gloves.

The men entered the bank and immediately began yelling at employees and customers to get down on the ground. One subject jumped the counter and emptied two teller cash drawers into a bag. Another suspect ordered the teller to get on her knees. After the teller complied, the suspect shot the wall behind her counter. There were no injuries to employees or customers.

Police believe the suspects may have switched cars after the robbery. A witness on E. 127th Street said they saw a male driver, and two other men, with long guns, jump out of an orange Honda Element. After the driver had gotten out of the Element, the car caught on fire. The men then got in another car, possibly a green or blue sedan.

Tips can be provided to the Cleveland Division of the FBI at 216-522-1400 or the Cleveland Division of Police, 4th District. Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individuals responsible. Tips can remain anonymous.

PNC Bank has offered an additional $10,000 reward.
