Garage Collapses In Cleveland, Traffic Lights Down

A garage on West Boulevard collapsed Wednesday morning, closing part of the street.

CLEVELAND — A garage collapsed on West Boulevard on Wednesday morning, closing part of the street. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area.

Hard rain may have caused the collapse of the garage. Cleveland Police said a streetlight in the area was also knocked out in the collapse. Any intersection with a broken stoplight should be treated as a four-way stop.

West Boulevard was closed down between Detroit and Madison while city crews worked to clean up the debris from the garage. The garage collapse wasn't the only traffic problem in Cleveland on Wednesday morning, though.
