Here are the top stories in Cleveland today:

1. East Cleveland police are investigating a homicide that took place at a local gas station early Saturday morning. Officers were told that the male victim was involved in a verbal altercation with another male inside the gas station and that the unidentified suspect punched the victim, knocking him out. The victim, whose name has not yet been released, was taken to University Hospitals, where he was pronounced dead. Anyone with information on the case is asked to reach out to the East Cleveland Detective Bureau. (WJW FOX 8 News Cleveland)
2. While Cleveland's Old Brooklyn neighborhood is known for its safe streets, a high-profile attack on a paramedic has the Old Brooklyn Crime Watch group taking notice and taking action. Last month, a vehicle accident took an unusual turn when a suspect walked up to an EMS captain and stabbed the first responder in the leg. Now, the crime watch group is working closely with the Cleveland Police Second District and reports crimes to CPD's Community Services Unit. (Cleveland 19 News)
3. This Saturday, University Hospitals set up prescription collection sites were set up across Northeast Ohio for Drug Take Back Day. (WKYC.com)
4. The daughter of Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson passed away on Saturday — the second tragedy to strike the family in just over a month. (Cleveland 19 News)
