Get a Free Taco from Taco Bell on Wednesday Thanks to Indians' Shortstop Francisco Lindor

Lindor stole a base in Game 1 of the World Series and the drive-thru restaurant is giving away free tacos to celebrate the theft.

CLEVELAND, OH - Remember Francisco Lindor's monster first inning in Game 1 of the World Series? The shortstop got a single, stole second base, and was then driven home to give the Tribe their first lead of the Fall Classic. Lindor's magical opening inning performance just got a little more magical. Because he was able to steal a bag, Taco Bell is giving away free tacos on Wednesday.

Taco Bell will give away a free Doritos Locos Taco this week as part of its World Series Steal A Base, Steal A Taco promotional tie-in. Residents can get a free taco at participating Taco Bell locations from 2 to 6 p.m.

Stealing a bag in the World Series is a special moment, but it was hardly the first base Lindor snatched this year. He stole 19 bases over the course of 2016, third on the team behind Rajai Davis (43 stolen bases) and Jose Ramirez (22).

However, stealing a base in the regular season rarely gets you a dope nickname. In the Fall Class, the feat earned Lindor the title of "Taco Hero" for the 2016 World Series.

Of course, Lindor was also picked off while trying to steal a base at Wrigley Field. What does that mean for your tacos?
