Day led the Buckeyes to a 3-0 record when Urban Meyer was suspended to start the season. But what else will he bring to the Buckeyes?

  2. Day spent two years in the NFL, working most recently under head coach Chip Kelly. He was the quarterbacks coach for both the San Francisco 49ers and the Philadelphia Eagles before joining Ohio State in 2017. He worked with Blaine Gabbert, Colin Kaepernick, and Sam Bradford.
  3. Day is originally from New Hampshire. He played quarterback for Kelly when he was head coach of the New Hampshire Wildcats.
  4. Cardale Jones, the former Buckeyes quarterback, loves Day. On Twitter, he said Day was "the best thing to happen to the Ohio State offense since the absence of Tom Herman. Developing players and calling plays that benefit their skill sets."
  5. He has two degrees: a bachelor's in business administration (from University of New Hampshire) and a master's in administrative studies (from Boston College).
