Halloween Shooting In Cleveland: 2 Dead, 1 Injured

CLEVELAND — Three men were shot at a home on Cleveland's east side on Halloween evening. Two of the men are dead and a third is confined at MetroHealth Medical Center, according to Cleveland police.

At 5 p.m. on Thursday, police were called to Durkee Avenue for reports of shots fired. When officers got inside the home, they found all three men with multiple gunshot wounds. An unidentified man was pronounced dead on the scene by EMS.

A 16-year-old at the scene was taken to University Hospitals where he was pronounced dead. The third shooting victim, a 17-year-old, was taken to MetroHealth, where he remains in confinement.

Investigators believe all three men were shot in an abandoned house on Durkee. Members of the Cleveland police homicide unit and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office are taking part in the investigation.
