Hamburglar Strikes In Cleveland, Breaks Into McDonald's
The McDonald's on Buckeye Road was broken into again. Now police are looking for the serial hamburglar.

CLEVELAND, OH — An apparent "hamburglar" broke into a McDonald's in Cleveland recently. The suspect broke the drive-thru window, got into the restaurant and appeared to try and break into a safe, after rifling through all of the store's drawers, according to police reports.
The McDonald's at 11420 Buckeye Road has been targeted multiple times by thieves, a Cleveland Police Department spokesperson told Patch. The manager of the store said the most recent break-ins have been done the same way: smashing the drive-thru window and climbing into the building, police reports said.
The most recent break-in occurred Nov. 28. The alarm for the building was armed but, for some reason, did not go off during the break-in. The store manager found her store broken into in the morning and called police. At the time, she thought the suspect might still be inside the restaurant.

Officers searched the McDonald's but the suspect was already gone. They did find a broken hammer and a pair of pliers sitting on an office floor, near a safe. The store manager then examined the building and found that all of the cabinets and drawers had been gone through, but nothing appeared to be taken.
Surveillance footage of the suspect was sought by Cleveland Police. A photo of the man believed to have broken into the restaurant is at the top of this article and below.
