- Firefighters battled a blaze at the Hampton Inn hotel located near the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. According to authorities, it took more than three hours to extinguish the blaze that erupted on Feb. 16. The fire was fueled and spread by 50-mile-per-hour winds. (Cleveland Patch)
- The Cleveland Police Department is investigating an inappropriate video that was sent to 200 students at Ginn Academy by a teacher. The video was shared on Feb. 7, and the incident was reported to authorities by the Ginn Academy principal. No details on the video's contents have been released and authorities have not said whether the teacher is a suspect. (cleveland.com)
- Cleveland's City Planning Commission approved a 132-apartment complex with 0 townhomes to be erected in the Tremont neighborhood. The plans detail a five-story 134,000 square foot apartment complex along Abbey Avenue with two neighboring smaller complexes that will hold the townhomes. Developer Michael Panzica is constructing the project and has plans to purchase the 1.7 acres that the buildings will reside on. (cleveland.com)
