Help Identify Man Found Dead In River In Ohio
A man was found floating in a river in Ohio in late May. Investigators have not yet discovered the man's identity.

DEFIANCE, OH — On May 24, 2019, a man's body was found floating in the Maumee River in Defiance County. After months of investigation, law enforcement are turning to the public for help identifying the John Doe.
“We are asking for the public’s assistance in order to bring closure for his family,” Defiance County Sheriff Douglas Engel said.
John Doe's body floated through Paulding County and into Defiance before it was recovered, law enforcement said. Investigators believe the man's body may have entered the river somewhere between Indiana and Defiance. The man is believed to be between 25 and 30 years old. He stands between 5 feet 4 inches tall and 5 feet 6 inches tall. He weighed approximately 150 pounds.

The man has a tattoo on his right shoulder with the word "Gemini" and colored stars. A second tattoo on the right side of his ribs says "Music."
“If you think you have information related to this case, please call law enforcement – your piece of information may solve the puzzle of identifying this man,” Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost said. “His loved ones deserve answers.”
