I-271 Work Taking Place March 22-March 25
Work on I-271 North will start March 22. I-271 South work will stretch from March 22 to March 25.

CLEVELAND, OH - The end of winter means the beginning of construction season in Greater Cleveland. Three projects are slated to start this week on I-271. The projects are part of a widening effort for I-271.
On March 22, the left lane of I-271 north, between Miles Road and Columbus Road, will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. That same day, crews will close multiple lanes on I-271 south. The closure will take place from 7 p.m. on March 22 until 6 a.m. on March 23. During the project, crews will be performing traffic shift preparations.
Then on Friday, March 24, crews will once again close multiple lanes on I-271. The closures will take place between Broadway Avenue and Richmond Road. Once again, the closures will start at 7 p.m. on March 24 and stretch on to March 25 at 6 a.m. Again, crews will be performing traffic shift preparation operations.

Work on I-271 near Mayfield Road was delayed this past weekend due to fog.
