Ice, 5 Inches Of Snow To Hit Northeast Ohio: Weather Advisory
The National Weather Service said 3 to 5 inches of snow could fall between Thursday night and Friday morning.
CLEVELAND — A winter weather advisory has been issued for Northeast Ohio on Thursday night and Friday morning. Forecasts say 3 to 5 inches of snow, and a glaze of ice, could hit the region overnight.
The winter weather advisory was issued for Cuyahoga, Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula counties.
Snowfall is expected to start at 7 p.m., the National Weather Service warned. The winter storm could continue until 4 a.m. on Friday.

"Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes," the National Weather Service said. The agency said drivers should slow down and hit the roadways with caution. Whenever possible, give yourself more time for the morning and evening commute.
Between Thursday night and Friday night, up to 6.5 inches of snow could fall, according to forecasts. However, the snowfall should begin tapering off on Friday afternoon and Friday evening.

There's a small chance of snow on Saturday, but that precipitation should become rain on Sunday. Temperatures will climb into the upper 30s and mid-40s next week.
