ideastream Trustees Select Sandra Kiely Kolb As Chair

ideastream is pleased to announce Sandra Kiely Kolb as the incoming chair of the board of trustees. Ms. Kolb was elected as chair at ideastream’s annual meeting on Monday, November 9. She has served as vice chair for the board of trustees for one year and has been an ideastream board member since 2014. She is currently a member of the marketing and development committee and previously served as chair of the nominating and governance committee. Ms. Kolb has previously served on the boards of Saint Luke’s Foundation, Saint Luke’s Hospital, the Cleveland Children’s Museum, the Cleveland Restoration Society and the Wesley Senior Foundation.

ideastream also expresses deep gratitude to Julie Adler Raskind as she steps down as the chair of the board of trustees. Ms. Raskind led the organization for three years and served as a member of the board since 2012. During her tenure as chair, she steered the successful conclusion of the $20.3 million Campaign for Community, championed and supported the creation of ideastream’s 2019–2021 strategic plan, and exemplified stalwart leadership in an unprecedented pandemic that provided daily mission-critical information to eleven million Ohioans.
