  1. On Wednesday morning, 20 U.S. Air Force medical personnel arrived at the Cleveland Clinic to help with the COVID-19 response. The personnel includes nurses, doctors, and respiratory therapists. They arrived to help with the increase in patients due to the Omicron variant. (cleveland.com)
  2. A mother of two football stars traveled 1,200 miles to see both sons play in two NFL games on the same day. Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce, center for the Philadelphia Eagles, both played in games on Sunday. Donna Kelce went from Tampa to Kansas City to see them both.   3. As part of an initiative to increase broadband services to Cuyahoga County, phase one of the "Central Neighborhood Surge" began this week.   • On Jan. 5, 2022, members of the Division of Police Gang Impact Unit and FBI Safe Streets as part of an ongoing "Spider Gang" criminal gang investigation, arrested three wanted males. Two 5.56 rifles and two semi-automatic firearms were recovered. (Facebook)
  • Cleveland Metroparks advises offering suet at your backyard feeding station to give birds extra energy during the cold winter. Suet feeders and cakes are widely available, are less messy than seed feeders, and will attract a variety of songbirds. (Facebook)
