Indians ALDS Tickets Sold Out Already

Tickets for Games 1, 2 and 5 vanished in less than two hours.

CLEVELAND, OH — After going on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, tickets to American League Division Series games at Progressive Field sold out in less than two hours. Games 1, 2 and 5 will be played in Cleveland and are sold out. Game 5 is an "as necessary" game.

The first game of the ALDS will be played Oct. 5. The Tribe will take on the winner of the play-in wildcard game between the Minnesota Twins and the New York Yankees.

Game times for the ALDS will be announced next week by Major League Baseball.

The Indians are encouraging fans to use StubHub to secure secondary-market tickets. The team announced that it is partnering with the website to provide secure purchasing experiences.

Should the Tribe win the ALDS, they would advance to the American League Championship Series, which would start Oct. 14. The World Series would begin Oct. 24.
