- Gas prices in Cleveland and across Ohio are on the rise after Russia's invasion of Ukraine last week, and experts predict prices will continue to rise as the war escalates and sanctions are imposed. According to data from AAA, the Buckeye State saw the largest week-to-week price increases at the pump, jumping from an average of $3.23 to approximately $3.33.
