Kent State Named One Of World's Best Fashion Schools

Kent State University's School of Fashion Design and Merchandising was rated No. 5 in the nation, and No. 15 in the world, in a new ranking.

KENT, OH — Kent State University's School of Fashion Design and Merchandising has again been ranked as one of the top fashion schools in the world, according to fashion-news site Fashionista.

Fashionista published its 2018 rankings of fashion schools, giving Kent State the No. 15 spot internationally, and the No. 5 spot in the U.S.

“We are extremely proud to be recognized and we’re honored to continuously improve our rankings every year,” said Kim Hahn, interim director of Kent's Fashion School. “It’s a great testament of our amazing collection of faculty and staff who are nationally and internationally recognized scholars and educators in the field, and to our dedicated students who continue to raise the level of talent by creating such high-quality work. We look forward to representing continued excellence and inspiring creative and resourceful fashion leaders!”
