Killing On Cleveland's East Side

A 32-year-old man was shot to death on Holyrood Avenue in the early morning hours of Sunday.

CLEVELAND — A 32-year-old man was shot to death on Cleveland's east side on early Sunday morning.

The man was found in the 1600 block of Holyrood Avenue. Police received reports of shots fired at 2:40 a.m. and then found the man laying outside.

The man was conscious and breathing, but wounded when police found him. He was given emergency medical treatment and then rushed to University Hospitals, where he died from his injuries.

Investigators discovered the man had been in a fight before he was shot. Police did not say if any suspects had been identified though. Homicide detectives are still investigating the killing.
