A U.S. Bank branch was robbed Monday afternoon. Now the FBI and police are asking the public for help ID'ing the suspect.
CLEVELAND — At about 3:15 p.m., a man wearing denim jeans, a burgundy shirt, and a Cleveland Cavaliers baseball hat walked into the U.S. Bank at 1350 Euclid Avenue and approached a teller. He demanded money and threatened to pull out a weapon.
The money was handed over and the man ran out of the bank. No one was hurt and no weapon was seen, the Cleveland FBI said.
Photos from the incident have been released to the public and law enforcement is looking for help identifying the lone suspect. The man shown in the photos is a black man, standing between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 145 pounds, and has a scruffy grey and black beard.
