Lake Erie Rip Current, Small Craft Advisory Warnings Issued
Waves could reach as high as 5 feet along the shore of Lake Erie, posing risks to swimmers and boaters.

CLEVELAND, OH — West winds of 17 to 28 miles per hour may cause waves up to 5 feet high along the shoreline of Lake Erie, the National Weather Service said in a beach hazard statement effective until 4 p.m. Monday.
Even the best of swimmers may encounter life-threatening conditions when such warnings are in effect in an area stretching from Huntington Beach and Edgewater Park east to Presque Isle. The Weather Service said swimmers should follow the instruction of local authorities and stay out of the water.
