Do You Want to Ring in the New Year with Success and Confidence?
Join us on Friday, January 26, 2018, as Independently Speaking Toastmasters in Seven Hills hosts their open house. The meeting theme is New Year’s Resolutions. Since 1989, the club has been dedicated to helping people become more dynamic speakers and leaders.
Speakers include Gail Gadah, presenting “My Wishes and Promises for You this Year!” and immediate past District 10 Director, Dave Wiley, presenting “Exercise Your Mind!”
Gadah’s resolution in 2018 is to overcome his fear of speaking in front of large groups with the help of Toastmasters.

“I am a foreigner, and my accent has been one of my first challenges in the U.S. At a certain point, I became shy and was not willing to speak in public anymore. Ever since I joined Toastmasters, I have been gaining more and more confidence. Now, I even think that my accent is actually an advantage for me. And, truth be told, the club has been very supportive,” says Gadah.
In 2018, Wiley plans to work in the Toastmasters Pathways program which rolled out in District 10 in 2017. In addition, he is committed to helping others grow in their own leadership and communication skills.

” We all want to be in better shape. Many New Year’s resolutions include exercising. This doesn’t have to stop with your body. You can develop a better you by exercising your mind in Toastmasters,” says Wiley.
The event will begin promptly at 12PM at DeVry University (4141 Rockside Road, Rm 114, in Seven Hills). Refreshments will be served. Join us to learn how Toastmasters will help you become more successful and confident in 2018!
Independently Speaking was established in 1989 and is a part of District 10 Toastmasters, which covers Northeast Ohio. The club meets every Friday at DeVry University (Room 114) from 12PM to 1PM.
