Is LeBron James The Best Ever? One Legendary Newscaster Says Yes

And he's not alone. Two rounds into the 2018 NBA playoffs and many are arguing James has surpassed the specter of Michael Jordan.

CLEVELAND, OH — Two iconic game-winners that will play in highlight reels for decades, a 43-point triple double and now a sweep of the No. 1 seed in the East...LeBron James is having a legendary playoff run. Locked into an Eastern Conference Finals spot, the Cleveland Cavaliers forward is already drawing high praise from big names. Some are even calling him better than Michael Jordan.

It's a debate that has heated up since 2016 when James helped the Cavaliers to their first title. It was No. 23's third NBA championship win and it came against the greatest regular season team of all time. Now, James is turning heads by continuing to dominate the league at age 33.

The roster of celebrities lining up to heap praise upon No. 23 is impressive. Newscaster Dan Rather proudly proclaimed James the best to ever suit up in the NBA, ESPN's Mike Greenberg is saying James and Jordan are now on an equal playing field — both men are equally good, and Drake has been utterly silenced (which can only be a good thing).
