Man Dressed As Postal Worker Shoots Clevelander

Police have not been able to determine if the man is an actual postal worker or if he was just wearing the uniform.

CLEVELAND, OH — A man dressed as a postal worker shot a Clevelander twice on Tuesday. Police have not been able to confirm if the man is an actual postal worker or if he was just wearing the uniform.

The shooting happened on E. 118th Street. A 51-year-old man was approached by the "postal worker." The suspect then pulled out a handgun and shot the man in the leg, twice.

The "postal worker" got into a burgundy vehicle and drove off. Police found the vehicle nearby, empty and running.

Cleveland Police are working with the United States Postal Inspectors to investigate this matter. There have been no arrests yet, a Cleveland Police spokesperson said.
