Man Shot Twice, Run Over By SUV In Cleveland
The 57-year-old South Carolina man died from his injuries, despite being rushed to a local hospital for treatment.

CLEVELAND — An out-of-town man was shot and then run over by an SUV on Sunday night, Cleveland Police announced. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, the man died from his injuries.
A little before 7 p.m. on Sunday, police got a call saying a person had been hit by a car. As officers headed toward Force Avenue, where the accident reportedly occurred, medical treatment for the victim arrived on the scene.
Investigators then learned Jerry Redmon, 57, had actually been shot twice in the stomach before being run over. He was rushed to MetroHealth but succumbed to his injuries.

Witnesses told police shots rang out before they saw a newer model SUV drive over the man. Little is known about the suspect.
Redmon is from Johns Island, South Carolina, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner said on Monday morning.

Homicide detectives are investigating what happened to Redmon.
