- City Hall officials announce that Mayor Bibb will switch to using an SUV in order to hold meetings while traveling. In the past, the Cleveland mayor would be transported in a Ford Crown Victoria; however, the current mayor will use a Chevy Tahoe transferred from the city's Department of Safety. On the campaign trail, Mayor Bibb touted public transportation and green alternatives to driving. (WKYC.com)

- According to a Cleveland fire official, no one was injured in the sudden car fire that occurred outside of the Justice Center on Wednesday. The car reportedly overheated around 10:25 AM on Ontario Street with fire crews extinguishing the blaze within four minutes. Investigators have not yet identified the cause of the car fire.
