- Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb released his transition report that outlines his administration's focus for their first100 days. The 104-page report is divided into ten parts relating to each transition subcommittee. Notable initiatives include the establishment of a Department of Transportation within the city and the beginning of negotiations with unions on new contracts for city services. (WKYC.com)
- The Ohio Supreme Court rejected a Republican attempt at redistricting maps. The Court has deemed the new maps unfairly favored Republicans. New maps must be drawn up by Feb. 17 according to the Supreme Court's decision. (cleveland.com)
- A woman has died in a collision with a Cleveland snowplow over the weekend. Miesha Nicholson, 48, was driving on Lee Road when the incident occurred. She was driving a 2012 Subaru and turned in front of a snowplow while attempting to into a Mcdonald's parking lot. (cleveland.com)
