1. The Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency awarded $12.8 million on Friday morning in an effort to stabilize Irishtown Bend hillside. The money will be used to stabilize the hillside, which has threatened for decades to slide into the Cuyahoga River and block industrial shipping. NOACA voted unanimously to award the money to the project. (cleveland.com)
2. Cleveland's original Vietnamese restaurant is closing for good on Sunday. Minh Anh, which opened in 1984, will be open for lunch and dinner this weekend, and officially close on Sunday night. Staff members don't know what the new owner's plans are for the building. (cleveland.com)
