  1. The Cleveland Clinic says 15 percent of all new COVID cases they saw in September were breakthrough infections – meaning those who tested positive were fully vaccinated. The Cleveland Clinic stressed Thursday that this data shows the vast majority of new cases remain in those who are unvaccinated. The Cleveland Clinic also said that 90 percent of the patients who were admitted to the hospital for COVID-19 in August were unvaccinated. (WKYC.com)
  2. YWCA Greater Cleveland president and CEO Margaret Mitchell has been chosen to lead national YWCA. Mitchell will assume her new role in January 2022, YWCA USA said on social media. YWCA Greater Cleveland will fill its interim CEO role internally and will conduct a national search for its next leader, according to a news release. (cleveland.com)
