Here are the top 3 stories in Cleveland today:
- A new Cleveland Public Library branch will be constructed this April. The new branch will be located at the corner of Detroit Avenue and West 79th Street. The library will be a two-story 10,300 square foot building connected to a five-story senior living facility. (cleveland.com)
- The Cuyahoga County Council has approved $575,000 worth of improvement for two municipalities in the greater Cleveland area. There will be $175,000 for Parma to demolish the Ridgewood Golf Course clubhouse and $400,000 for Chagrin Falls to renovate the Chagrin Valley Fire Department facilities. The Community Development Fund will provide the funding needed to perform the improvements. (cleveland.com)
- First responders arrived at the intersection of East 79th and Kinsman Road Friday morning to respond to a car crash. Officials said Carzel Hoskins, 29, died after driving his vehicle into a utility pole. According to a 19 News photojournalist, the roads were icy and it's likely the reason the car struck the pole.
