Northeast Ohioans Share Messages Of Joy Amid Coronavirus
Institutions and individuals around Northeast Ohio were encouraged to share messages of hope on Twitter. The community stepped up.
CLEVELAND — This week, Cuyahoga County officials sent out a challenge to Northeast Ohioans. Amid the frequently bleak news of the day, residents were asked to share a message of joy or hope on Twitter. The community heard the call and stepped up.
The Cleveland Cavaliers, the Cleveland Indians, MetroHealth and myriad other organizations, along with countless residents revealed how they're keeping their chin and spirits high during the new coronavirus outbreak.
The responses ran the spectrum. Northeast Ohioans have chalked their driveways, posted signs with messages of hope, help dance classes over the Internet, baked cookies, built forts and so much more.
