Nothing Bundt Cakes Owners Changed By Opening in South Euclid

With first bakery in Avon, owners say they have an even bigger purpose with new opening

Janette and Dennis Looney opened their first bakery in Avon nearly two years ago and now they are realizing their higher purpose in bakery-ownership with the September opening of their new bakery in South Euclid.

“When we decided to open on Cleveland’s East Side, we looked at a number of sites,” recalled Dennis Looney, local bakery owner with wife, Janette. “But, now that we are opening in South Euclid, we couldn’t be happier.”

Through the hiring process, the Looneys have come to understand that their business is about much more than cake.

“We have met individuals who have not had an easy time in life and who are amazing human beings. It has become clear to us,” shared Dennis, “that this is more than celebrating with cake. It is about an opportunity…and a responsibility…we have to hire and develop people who deserve a second chance in life.”

The bakery will host grand opening festivities for the community in late-October (see details below).
