Ohio BMV Title Processing Unavailable Dec. 30-31
The organization is installing a new title processing software on Jan. 3. To prepare, the current system will be down at the end of the year

OHIO - Ohio's Bureau of Motor Vehicles title processing system will be unavailable on Dec. 30 and Dec. 31. The system will be replaced with a new processing system in early January, causing the late outage.
The BMV is releasing a new Automated Title Processing System to the Clerks of Courts Title Offices on Jan. 3, 2017. The organization says the new software will require the current system to be down on the last two days of 2016.
In addition to those outages, the BMV will be closed on Jan. 2 because it's a state holiday. Additionally, the BMV asks that you contact your local Clerk of Courts Title Office to find their designated hours of operation.
