Ohio Gas Prices Still Dropping

The average cost of a gallon of regular is down another 7 cents versus a week ago and nearly 35 cents versus a month ago.

CLEVELAND, OH - Gas prices in the Greater Cleveland region continue to tumble. The average cost of a gallon of regular gas has dropped by seven cents versus one week ago and now sits at $2.03, according to travel company AAA.

The average national gas price for a gallon of regular has stayed relatively stable at $2.26. AAA reports that increases in US oil production, coupled with declining demand, has kept American gas prices stable despite declining global oil production.

However, in Ohio, gas prices are dropping. Last week, the average gas price for a gallon of regular was $2.10. A month ago, a gallon of regular cost $2.38. Now gas prices sit at $2.03. That average ranks Ohio as one of the five cheapest states to buy a gallon of regular gas. Only South Carolina, Alabama, and Tennessee offer cheaper gallons of regular.
