Ohio High Schooler Attacked Cops, Groped Staffers, Police Say

The student repeatedly claimed he had taken LSD, police said. The 15-year-old now faces a bevy of felony charges.

LIBERTY, OH — A Liberty High School student is being accused of grabbing a teacher's breasts, assaulting a police officer and damaging a police cruiser. The teenager claimed he had taken LSD, according to reports.

Last Wednesday, Jan. 16, a female teacher at the school began shouting for help and saying, "Do not touch me," to a 15-year-old student. The school resource officer came to help and saw the student running out an exit door, into a parking lot, the Youngstown Vindicator reported.

The officer was able to stop the student in the parking lot and bring him back into the building. The student was brought into the school office, where he reportedly pushed a female school employee against a wall and groped her, police said.

The student was then handcuffed and placed into a police cruiser. Inside the cop car, the student began licking the window and then he kicked through the partition separating the backseat from the front seat, kicking a police officer in the head in the process, police said.

Officers then put the teenager on a gurney and got him into a local hospital. He told a nurse he had taken LSD before shouting obscenities, police reported.

The teenager then screamed that he was an "Avenger" and tried to strangle a nurse with her stethoscope, NBC 4 reported.

In a medical evaluation, the teenager again said he was on LSD and claimed his dog had given it to him, police said.

After being released from the hospital, the 15-year-old was taken to Trumbull County Juvenile Justice Center. He faces charges of gross sexual imposition, assault, resisting arrest, and vandalism.
