Ohio Highway Trooper Hit By Car On I-90
A Dodge Caliber hit the driver's side of a Highway Patrol cruiser on Friday morning.

CLEVELAND — An Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper was hit by a car on I-90 on Friday morning. He suffered non-life threatening injuries, a Patrol spokesperson announced.
The accident happened near McKinley Road in Cleveland, at 8:40 a.m. The trooper was parked in a crossover and was surveying traffic, looking for violations.
A 2008 Dodge Caliber, going east on I-90, then went left off the road and hit the patrol car on the driver's side.

The trooper was taken to Fairview Hospital and the driver of the Caliber was not hurt in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation, a Highway Patrol spokesperson said.
