Ohio’s Largest Wedding Show Returns To I-X Center

Local bridal-industry leader, Today’s Bride Magazine & Shows, is returning to the recently reopened I-X Center to host the nation’s third largest wedding planning expo in January 2022.

For 14 years, the I-X Center has been home to Ohio’s most popular Wedding Show, helping couples plan their nuptials. This event has been vital to the livelihood of Northeast Ohio businesses, connecting them to thousands of engaged couples who are planning their weddings.

“The I-X Center said ‘Yes’ and looks forward to reuniting with Today’s Bride,” exclaims Lisa Vo, Assistant General Manager with IRG Realty Advisors, LLC.

Vice President of Today’s Bride, Jennifer Fyffe, agrees and says she is excited to host the popular January wedding show at the I-X Center next year. “We’re looking forward to returning to the I-X Center; it’s really going to feel like going home for both our clients and attendees.”

Today’s Bride was forced to cancel the January 2021 Wedding Show due to the pandemic and I-X Center closing; however, as Ohio reopened events, the city of Cleveland approved a proposal by Today’s Bride to host a show with safety measures in place at the Huntington Convention Center in April. Approximately 5,000 guests attended the two-day expo.

“In addition to the I-X Center returning, so too are wedding celebrations in 2022,” touts Jim Frericks, co-owner of Today’s Bride. “An estimated $50.4 million dollars was lost in the northeast Ohio region during the dismal 2020 wedding season due to postponements and cancellations. Celebrations are expected to rebound to heights unseen in decades -- and that’s great news for the entire bridal industry!”

Since 1989, Today’s Bride Shows have been the perfect place for couples to plan their wedding. From venues and DJs, to flowers and cakes, to photographers and travel agents, the Today’s Bride Cleveland Wedding Show will have upwards of 200 exhibitors for couples to meet, shop, get inspired, and save money on their wedding.
