1. CrossCountry Mortgage delivered a "sleigh" full of new, unwrapped toys today to "Operation Giving Tree," the annual FOX 8 toy drive. Employees spent November collecting donations of gift cards, electronics, sports balls, dolls, games, stocking stuffers, makeup, and more. The donated items will be given to children in care in several Ohio counties, including Cuyahoga, Lorain, Medina, Summit, and Lake, this holiday season. (Yahoo Finance)
2. Marginalized communities often feel unseen when it comes to medical care. Now, one Cleveland hospital is working to change that. MetroHealth Medical System recently announced a pledge to hire and retain Hispanic workers at all levels of the hospital. (Spectrum News 1)
