Part Of I-77 Closing This Weekend In Northeast Ohio
Bridge work will close down a section of the highway starting on Friday.
Parts of I-77 north and south will close over the weekend, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced.
Crews will shut down I-77 between I-480 and I-490 starting at 8 p.m. on Friday. The stretch of highway will remain closed until 6 a.m. Monday. Only limited local access will be maintained within the closure.
ODOT crews will be doing bridge beam erection work on I-77 over I-490 during the closure. Drivers that usually use this route will be detoured to SR 176 as an alternate.

The weekend closure will also shutter the I-480 east and west ramps to I-77 north and I-490 east and west ramps to I-77 south.
