Passerby Finds Shooting Victim On Sidewalk In Cleveland
At first, they thought the victim had been sleeping. Then they saw the blood.

CLEVELAND — An unidentified man was found shot to death on the sidewalk on Thursday afternoon in the Collinwood neighborhood. A passing motorist saw the man bleeding out in broad daylight and called police.
The man was found at the intersection of Galewood Drive and Ingleton Avenue a little after noon. The driver saw the man and, at first, thought he was asleep. Then they noticed the pool of blood and called police.
EMS rushed to the scene, but the man had a gunshot wound to his head. He was unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene.

Members of Cleveland's Homicide Unit and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office investigated the death. The man has not yet been identified and there are currently no suspects, police said.
The unidentified man is a black male in his 40s or 50s, police said. Anyone with information regarding this matter is asked to contact investigators at 216-623-5464.
