Pedestrian Hit By Car While Walking In Cleveland

CLEVELAND — A 55-year-old man was hit by a car on Monday morning in Cleveland.

The man was crossing E. 55th Street, at Luther Avenue, when a car hit him. The car was going south on E. 55 and had a green light, Cleveland police said.

The 55-year-old was taken to the Cleveland Clinic by EMS and then flown to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he remains confined.

Police said the 55-year-old was not in a cross walk at the time of the accident.
