Here are the top three stories in Cleveland today:
- Cleveland parents can take their children to the new Ron and Lydia Harrington Perennial Playspace at the Cleveland Botanical Garden. The permanent exhibit opened its doors on Mar. 19 with dozens of activities tailored for children to learn about the natural world around them. The exhibit is divided into two different spaces: the Sensory Studio and the Sensory Play Area. (cleveland.com)
- Ohio officials have announced that the state-wide tornado drill has been canceled. The drill was originally scheduled for Mar. 23 but severe weather has caused the drill to be delayed. Officials are concerned the drill will be confused with actual tornadoes. (Cleveland 19 News)
- The City of Cleveland is providing an additional $200,000 towards a program that provides lawyers to impoverished renters facing evictions. The money is part of the Right to Counsel program that provides legal services to people living below the federal poverty line. The program has been estimated to cost roughly $3.2 million this year.
