Here are the top three stories in Cleveland today:
- A 44-year-old man from Bucyrus was charged in federal court for sending threatening messages to Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs. Hobbs has faced numerous amounts of threats since the 2020 election. Russell will remain in jail in Cleveland until his hearing on Thursday. (Subscription: cleveland.com)
- The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force and East Cleveland police are on the search for Michael Sheppard, who is wanted for murder. The 43-year-old man allegedly murdered someone on the 1800 block of Garfield Street. A reward is being offered for any information leading to his arrest. (Cleveland 19 News)
- Three individuals were shot early Sunday morning in nearby Maple Heights. A group of people was arguing when the suspect pulled out a gun and shot at and hit three men, including homes. Four people were arrested for the disturbance but later released. No one is in custody at this time. (Subscription: cleveland.com)
