Police Exchange Fire with Suspects at FirstEnergy, 1 Suspect Injured
An 18-year-old suspect was shot in the shoulder after trading shots with police.

CLEVELAND, OH - Police traded gunfire with a group of suspects at the FirstEnergy center, 4295 E. 146th, at 2 a.m. Nov. 18. One suspect was wounded in the exchange. No officers were wounded.
Police were called to the area for trespassers and when they arrived they encountered a group of male suspects. The suspects opened fire on police and officers fired back. The suspect, an 18-year-old, was hit in the shoulder. He was taken to University Hospitals for treatment. A handgun was recovered on the scene.
The other suspects fled the area but three of them were apprehended by assisting officers. One suspect remains at large. Two of those arrested were 17-years-old. The third is an adult.

The Use of Deadly Force Investigation Team also checked out the scene. The matter will continue to be investigated.
Police say they have no update on the wounded suspect or why the men were trespassing in the area.
